ATO integration roadmap for accounting practices
Accountants require precision, visibility, and secure connections to regulatory bodies. Portal 360 is rolling out a deeply integrated Australian Taxation Office (ATO) experience so you can manage tax obligations and client communication from one AI-powered platform instead of juggling separate portals.
Phase 1 — Client communication (1 May 2026)
Phase 1 delivers streamlined client communication directly linked to ATO requirements. Messages, tasks, and document requests stay tied to the client record in CRM and Communication Centre, so your team always knows what the ATO needs and what the client has supplied.
Phase 2 — Activity statements and reporting (7 May 2026)
Phase 2 adds full support for activity statements and reporting workflows. Prepare, review, and track BAS and related obligations alongside jobs and tasks in the Productivity Centre, with less double-handling between practice management and compliance tools.
Phase 3 — Direct lodgements (1 Jul 2026)
Phase 3 enables direct lodgements from within the Portal 360 dashboard. Lodge eligible obligations without leaving the platform, while maintaining audit trails and secure Australian-hosted storage for supporting documents.
